OUR PORTFOLIO
Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation’s asset portfolio consists of three revenue streams: Economic Interests (off-reserve renewable energy assets), Partnerships, and Nation Enterprises (on-reserve assets).
Economic Interests
Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC) manages Six Nations’ economic interests in 28 renewable energy projects and numerous economic development opportunities in and around the Six Nations territory. SNGRDC’s current energy portfolio boasts over 2.5 gigawatts (GW) of capacity through its direct (Equity Interests) or indirect (Community Benefit Agreements) involvement in five battery storage, seven solar, and 14 wind projects.

Grand Renewable Wind (GRW)
Grand Renewable Wind is a 149MW wind project consisting of 67 turbines in Haldimand County. GRW reached commercial operation in December 2014.

Grand Renewable Solar (GRS)
Grand Renewable Solar is a 100MW solar facility located in Haldimand County. GRS reached commercial operation in March 2015.

Niagara Region Wind Farm
Niagara Region Wind Farm is a 230MW, 77 turbine wind project in the Niagara Region & Haldimand County. It reached commercial operation in November 2016.

BGI Solar
BGI Solar is a 250KW solar project located in Brant County. BGI Solar consists of 1,152 solar panels and reached commercial operation in March 2015.

OBP Solar
OBP Solar is a 500KW solar project on the roof of the Oneida Business Park located on Six Nations. OBP Solar reached commercial operation in September 2015.

Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm
Gunn’s Hill Wind Farm is a wind project consisting of 10 turbines located in Oxford County. It reached commercial operation in September 2016.

Nanticoke Solar
Nanticoke Solar is a 44MW solar facility located on the former Nanticoke Generating Station. It reached commercial operation in March 2019.

Niagara Reinforcement Line (NRL)
The NRL is a 230KV, 76km long reinforcement line that runs through Haldimand County. NRL reached commercial operation in December 2014.

Oneida Energy Storage
Oneida Energy Storage is a 250MW battery storage facility located in Haldimand County. It reached commercial operation in May 2025.

Hagersville Battery
The Hagersville Battery Project is a 300MW battery storage facility located in Haldimand County. It is expected to reach commercial operation in 2025.

Elora BESS
The Elora BESS Project is a 211MW battery energy storage facility located in Centre Wellington Township. It is expected to reach commercial operation in 2027.

Hedley BESS
The Hedley BESS Project is a 211MW battery energy storage facility located in Haldimand County. It is expected to reach commercial operation in 2027.

Oxford BESS
The Oxford BESS Project is a 125MW battery energy storage facility located in Oxford County. It is expected to reach commercial operation in late 2026/early 2027.
Partnerships
Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation maintains a diverse partnership portfolio, including joint ventures, general and limited partnerships, and profit-sharing agreements with leading industry partners.

Aecon-Six Nations (A6N)
General Partnership
Established in 2015, A6N is a general partnership between SNGRDC and Aecon Inc., delivering large-scale infrastructure and utility projects across Ontario.

Sterling Crane
Profit-Sharing Agreement
Sterling Crane shares a portion of profits from projects completed within Southern Ontario with SNGRDC under a partnership agreement.

CiveoSix
Joint Venture
CiveoSix delivers quality hospitality, food, janitorial, and property maintenance solutions for industrial, construction, and remote workforce sites.

MSS Ltd.
Joint Venture
SNGRDC’s Joint Venture with MSS will deliver healthcare, industrial, and institutional supplies to government and commercial clients.

Brock Canada
Joint Venture
SNGRDC and Brock Canada’s Joint Venture will offer industrial service solutions including scaffolding, insulation, coatings, and rope access.

VersaPile
Limited Partnership
SNGRDC and VersaPile’s partnership will deliver engineered helical pile foundations for renewable energy infrastructure and industrial projects.

TULLOCH
Joint Venture
TULLOCH offers engineering services including geomatics, civil and structural engineering, construction management, and more.

Maple Leaf Matting
Profit Sharing Agreement
Under this agreement, SNGRDC will receive a share of profits from Maple Leaf Matting projects in Southern and Southwestern Ontario.
Nation Enterprises
Nation Enterprises include all on-reserve assets and departments managed by Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation.

Chiefswood Park
Chiefswood Park is located on the banks of the Grand River and offers premium accommodations including luxury log cabins, glamping, and camping sites.

Gathering Place by the Grand
The Gathering Place by the Grand is a premier event venue in Six Nations, equipped to handle a variety of events from large banquets to intimate gatherings.

Six Nations Bingo
Six Nations Bingo is a premier gaming destination in Six Nations, offering exciting bingo events while supporting local community initiatives and programs.

Oneida Business Park
Oneida Business Park is an industrial building consisting of sprawling office, warehouse, and manufacturing space.

Property Management
Property Management is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all Nation Enterprise holdings, including the SNGRDC administration building.
